Guitar Humidity - Day 107

From mid January to late April, the water level in Musik Tent reservoir is indicating it should go another few months before running empty.  However, we expect less water will be consumed in coming months as the ambient room humidity in Pennsylvania increases. We are not running the heat more than a few hours a day, compared to nearly continuously in winter months. This is shown in the graph below.  

At this point in the study, it is clear there is really no comparison with sponge type humidifiers compared to Musik Tent. Even 2 freshly charged sponge humidifiers peaked over about 2 days before declining during a period in winter when the room ambient humidity was around 25% to 30% RH.
